I have recently started to focus on the issue of "active obedience" of Christ and I honestly see no Biblical evidence for it. I realize how and why it's "needed" in the Sola Fide scheme, but in terms of actually finding it in the Bible, I am still seeking evidence. I am making this comment because I would hope someone like John Owen had something to say on this subject, turning to specific texts.
